Freya is a beautiful 3-year-old German Shepherd mix with a big heart and an even bigger love for her people. Weighing 91 pounds, this sweet and loyal girl was owner released and is now searching for a forever home where she can feel safe, loved, and part of the family.
Freya is wonderful with kids and does well with other dogs. She’s also crate trained and rides great in the car, making her a fantastic companion for both home life and adventures. She already knows several commands including sit, lay, and paw, and she’s eager to please the people she loves.
This precious girl is extremely affectionate and forms strong bonds with her family. She loves to stay close and will happily curl up right next to you when it’s time to relax. Freya is also naturally protective, which is a common and admirable trait of her breed. Her favorite toys are balls, and she enjoys playtime just as much as quiet cuddle time.
Freya does have some separation anxiety and prefers to be near her people whenever possible. While she is crate trained, it’s unclear if she is fully house trained as she has had some accidents in the home. With patience, routine, and reassurance, she will continue to improve. She can also be a little nervous at the groomer, but with gentle handling and trust she does her best.
Freya is heartworm negative, up to date on all vaccinations, rabies vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed, so she is completely ready to start her new life with a loving family.
